🧠 Overview
We are seeking an experienced IoT Engineer, Automation Developer, or Industry 4.0 Specialist to design and prototype a Smart Manufacturing IoT 4.0 Platform.
The goal of this mission is to create a proof-of-concept system that demonstrates how connected sensors, data analytics, and AI-driven automation can optimize production efficiency, predictive maintenance, and real-time performance monitoring in manufacturing environments.
This project bridges hardware and software innovation — merging industrial IoT, machine learning, and smart factory automation into one scalable prototype.
🎯 Main Objective / Task
- Develop a working IoT 4.0 prototype system that can:
- 📡 Collect and transmit real-time machine and sensor data (temperature, vibration, output metrics, etc.)
- 🤖 Use AI/ML algorithms for predictive maintenance and anomaly detection
- 🖥️ Provide a centralized dashboard for monitoring KPIs, alerts, and process insights
- 🏭 Simulate or integrate with manufacturing equipment / PLCs / robotics
- ☁️ Store and process data in the cloud or on-edge devices for analytics and control
- Develop a user-friendly interface for factory operators and managers.
- Provide complete documentation, API references, and a demo presentation.
🧩 Skills Required
- 🧠 IoT Development & Integration: MQTT, Modbus, OPC-UA, or REST APIs
- 💻 Embedded Systems: Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or ESP32 microcontrollers
- ☁️ Cloud Platforms: AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub, or Google Cloud IoT
- 📊 Data Analytics & Visualization: Power BI, Grafana, or custom dashboards (React, Node.js)
- 🤖 AI/ML for Industry 4.0: TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or PyTorch (for predictive analytics)
- 🔐 Cybersecurity: Secure IoT communications and authentication (TLS/SSL, encryption)
- 🏗️ Industrial Automation: PLC integration, SCADA systems, robotic process simulation
