🧠 Overview
We are looking for a Blockchain Developer or Smart Infrastructure Engineer to design and prototype a Smart City Blockchain System that enables secure, transparent, and automated data exchange across municipal services, IoT devices, and citizens.
The mission is to build a proof-of-concept (PoC) showcasing how blockchain technology can enhance urban governance, resource optimization, and citizen trust in next-generation smart cities.
🎯 Main Objective / Task
- Design and develop a Smart City Blockchain Prototype that demonstrates:
- ✅ Decentralized data management between urban IoT devices and departments
- ✅ Smart contracts for automated transactions (e.g., energy trading, parking payments, waste collection)
- ✅ Identity and access management for citizens and IoT endpoints
- ✅ Immutable data logs for transparency and auditability
- Integrate blockchain with IoT sensor feeds or city management dashboards.
- Demonstrate interoperability with AI analytics tools or digital twins (optional).
- Deliver a functional demo prototype with documentation, UI dashboard, and technical handover.
🧩 Skills Required
- 🔗 Blockchain Development: Solidity, Ethereum, Polygon, or Hyperledger Fabric
- 🧱 Smart Contract Programming: Truffle, Hardhat, Web3.js
- 🌐 IoT Integration: MQTT, Node-RED, or AWS IoT Core
- 💻 Backend & APIs: Node.js, Python (Flask/FastAPI), or Go
- ☁️ Cloud Deployment: AWS, Azure, or GCP
- 🧠 AI / Data Analytics (Optional): Integration with AI insights for city management
- 🛡️ Cybersecurity & Data Privacy: Encryption, key management, and identity verification protocols
- 🎨 Dashboard / UI: React, Next.js, or Vue for admin panel or citizen interface
